Default Was I on Tilt?

Ok, This hand needs all the backround info and image etc. so here are some hands leading up to it:

SB ($195)
Hero ($188.05)
UTG ($95.70)
MP ($142.70)
Button ($268.10)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, SB raises to $6, Hero calls $4.

Flop: ($12) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB pots it, I min-raise, he pushes I fold

I don't like this hand but this is not the point of the post. I don't have many hands on this guy, he just sat down, he was like 20/10 for 15 hands, but from what I can tell he is pretty tight, and is trying to win money from the guy I'll introduce to you in the next hand

Very next hand:

Button ($223)
Hero ($158.05)
BB ($200)
UTG ($95.70)
MP ($142.70)
CO ($268.10)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, CO raises to $4, 1 fold, Hero raises to $16, 2 folds, CO calls $12.

Flop: ($34) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $19, CO raises to $93, Hero pushes CO calls

CO has 22, meh

CO is 60/40/2

Next hand I raise pre, and take it down on the flop with a bet. It would appear I'm now on tilt. There's a chance this might be true a little.

Next hand:

MP ($223)
Hero ($206.45)
Button ($197)
SB ($91.70)
BB ($142.70)
UTG ($423.15)

MP calls $2, Hero calls $2, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($8) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets $2, MP calls $2, Hero makes it $18 total, folded to MP (from first hand) who insta all-ins. I call.

I'm not telling you my hand. It's kind of embarressing, and if I made a stupid choice I still want this post to be interesting. What was the minimum hand I need here to call?

I think you need a K sorry... if he thinks you're on tilt, he's gonna think you're calling with any pair. I'd like a K to be safe.

I hope you didn't call without a king. Small blind could have almost anything here in an unraised pot, but I'm going to assume SB doesn't make this play without 3 kings or better. I have a tough time getting away from trips, so I'd probably call with any king I'd limp into a pot with...I think the minimum I'd limp in here with is KTs or KJs, but I'd say K9 or KT is a good cutoff point for calling the all in for a few reasons.

1) If you're kicker is below an 8, it's likely to be a split pot if you both have King-rag, so there's not point in calling to be way behind or chop-chop.

2) If he has K8, you at least have 3 outs to the boat

3) If he's making this play with any king (and let's say he could have any king since he's the small blind) you're kicker is bigger than half of his.

any king I think is ok to call with, or of course, 88. If you don't have those, you are insane if you called.

I'm probably a bit conservative overall, but I wouldn't call this without KJ or higher. KJ is definitely a hand he might not raise with pre flop, meaning you have to believe he can have this when he goes all in.

I was thinking no way he does this with a weak king. I am thinking now that the cut off should be AK

This massive overbet seems to want to get called so badly, I don't think KJ is good enough to call with. Which is what I had. Which lost to his K8.

Seriously why in the world would he do this with KT?
