Default TPGK against loose passive villian

villian is loose passive. I have seen many players at this level min bet draws trying to price themselves in. Looking back I don't think most LPP would bet a draw. am i wrong?

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (8 handed) converter

Button ($23.15)
SB ($28.20)
BB ($13.15)
UTG ($33.15)
UTG+1 ($7.75)
MP1 ($13.65)
Hero ($26.60)
CO ($28.10)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.10) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
BB checks, UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets $0.25</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, BB folds, UTG folds, MP1 calls $1.75.

Turn: ($5.10) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
MP1 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $5.1</font>, MP1 calls $5.10.

River: ($15.30) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
MP1 checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: $15.30

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
MP1 has 8s Ac (two pair, aces and eights).
Hero has Ah Jh (one pair, aces).
Outcome: MP1 wins $15.30. </font>

I might not go crazy here.

I think I raise to 1.25 or 1.5 on the flop.

bet 3 or 4 on the turn.

I also raise preflop but limping is not too bad if you are uncomfortable playing hands like AJ.

Should the min bet on the flop from a LPP have sounded alarm bells?

that's what i thought, but wouldn't that deviate from the typical actions of a LPP.

You played it correctly. You could have bet a little less than pot on the turn. Check behind on river is standard.
