mysteries of multitabling
I have been playing 6-max NL ring for a while now, from 2/4 to 5/10, and I am just starting to get into multitabling. There has been a lot of discussion of multitabling here, but I haven't seen much discussion of techniques or tricks for doing it well.
For example, are you multitablers able to follow all hands on all tables from start to finish, including ones you are not involved in? I can't seem to do this yet for two tables. Do you not follow all hands, but check hand histories after? Do you fold a marginal hand on one table if there is something big going on at another table. I'm guessing this has to be done to some extent. Playing two complicated hands has led to disaster for me, but maybe I just need more experience. Are there any more tips/tricks for being a good NL multitabler? |

Re: mysteries of multitabling
Drop down a couple of limits and play four tables until you get used to it. Then go back to two tables at your regular limit and you will retain more. Sounds odd, but it works.
