Why is my signature not showing up?

I typed signature in the signature field, and I checked off add signature to this post....and nothing. Am i missing something?

I'm pretty sure signatures are not allowed on 2+2. It helps to prevent affiliate spam.

That doesn't really explain why this particular installation of UBB appears to accomodate sigs, i.e. why it wasn't turned off. If I were a betting man, I'd bet that someone forgot to configure it properly to turn off the sigs -- assuming that feature was coded to be configurable in the first place, which it should be.

At any rate, leaving the field there but not displaying it is a user-unfriendly hack that leads to threads like this. I wondered the same thing and just never bothered to ask.

I can confirm Pov's account. Signatures were turned off due to spam.
