Should raise the flop. Or, if for some reason you're gonna use the "wait for the turn to raise" line, you have to raise the turn.

There is no reason to wait for the turn, raise for value.

you played this hand way too passive. Follow up on your preflop aggression and raise the flop for value and also to take control of the hand.

Yeah, edited it but still not clear. This is NOT a case to wait, but if it was that card is relatively safe and now you do raise.

Edit: anyway, too late and too many beers, I'm not even understanding myself. Scratch all this and just pretend I said raise flop, raise turn.

this flop is extremely ragged. Usually when you wait for the turn to raise, it is because the flop is very dangerous and full of flush and straight draws.

just noticed this, but why did you wait till the river to raise? were you trying to slowplay.

you have figured out how to put the evil monkey on your avatar, but not that an overpair on the flop warrants a raise. We will beat the passiveness out of you.

Welcome to the forum. Waiting until the turn to raise would be a good strategy given the pot size and the likelihood of the flop bettor continuing his aggression on this ragged board. A flop raise would be a reasonable alternative. Slowplaying to the river is actively bad -- your hand is not nearly strong enough, and the error is compounded by the pot size. Don't screw around in large pots. Do whatever you can to maximize your chances of winning it.
