Default Adventures of the SPM,...freezing in seat nine!

Seat nine in the 10-20 feeder game at Hollywood Casino in Aurora, IL was so cold the face cards were getting frost bite. Big Slick (AK) and Ms Slick (AQ) lost their balance and slid into the muck after every flop from seat nine. Only someone layered in rags could have felt warm. You would have thought it was early January if you had seen how cold the cards felt when the dealer slid them to the SPM. He had to release them quickly for fear they would stick to his skin like a tongue on a freezing metal pole. One pair of red sixes in the big blind looked like they could heat up into a straight flush after the flop. But when the two outer got to the river it was a solid sheet of ice and they also slid quietly into the muck.

Seat nine was cold enough for some ice fishing, but even the fish stayed clear of seat nine. They played hot hands that sizzeled in the sun light. The SPM tried a couple of troubled hands to see if the weather would break. But they refused to play without a warm suit and gloves. Finding a troubled hand wearing a suit happened twice. The first one stayed hot, the second one slipped and fell in the ice cold water of the river and froze to death.

The SPM heard a rumor that things were warming up at the turn. He tried to get there but missed the warning sign of thin ice ahead. His cards slipped on the ice and a pile of chips fell threw the cracks of the ice and were never seen or heard from again.

Playing Hold'em in a ice storm isn't any fun. It's so cold you're afraid to peek at your cards because they could freeze dry you eye lids. The storm lasted two and half hours, four stacks of chips were lost to inclement weather. The SPM, went home with empty pockets. This extra room in his pockets gave him plenty of room to put his frost bitten hands. Will the SPM need surgery to fix his hands? Film at eleven.

SPM,...when will spring return where cards fall in love with the flop...

SPM,

I though table 7, seat 2 & 3 are the coldest seats at Hollywood.

Soh

p.s. ...well physically.
