Default Ring vs. SnG

Of course I know the differences, but what are the major pro's and cons? The reason I ask is most consistant money makers in poker 'seem' to play ring games. When I play ring, I currently break even the majority of the time with some minor swings one way or the other (both limit and NL). Yet, I seem to win the majority of SnG's, though the income is very slow.

For what its worth, I play .50/$1 Limit, .10/.25 NL, or $5 SnG's.

I honestly dont know why I do better in SnG's other than the fact that im more willing to take an all-in risk since you have to play to win, not just gain some chips.
