Default EV. SNG v.s. Ring-Game

Hello,

I am relatively new to the Poker World, so please bear w/me if these questions sound too basic (All questions are in the context of Online Poker)

1) What are the advantages of playing SNGs v.s. ring games ?
2) Are there special qualities in a player that would make him/her more suited to playing SNGs v.s. ring games ?
3) I've consistently had more success at 30+1s than 10+1s at PartyPoker. Is that weird ?
4) My performance has been SNG > RngGames > MTT. Is the sample too small (a few hundred tournaments) to read too much into this ?
5) Is it bad to keep mixing up SNGs with RingGames. I notice that when I follow up a ring game w/a SNG I play too tight. However, I feel that my Poker Sense gets pretty acute when I play ring games. Maybe with a larger sample I can conclude if playing all variations of Hold'em in a day is probably not the best thing for total ROI. Comments ?

Thanks in advance.

There was a long thread about this a while ago. Don't have the link, but it was called "I'm going back to ring games" or something.
