Default 2 AA hands

after 61 hands villian is 27/18/2.6

i was very close to reraising with my AA on the button, but at this table i wasn't getting much action if i reraised a good amount, and not many callers to a 4x BB PF raise let alone a 6BB raise, so i decided to smooth call. to my surprise two other callers entered the pot, and so here's the first hand:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.5 BB (10 handed) converter

CO ($69.45)
Hero ($52.7)
SB ($66.5)
BB ($47.5)
UTG ($188.15)
UTG+1 ($51.25)
UTG+2 ($22.1)
MP1 ($57.65)
MP2 ($26.85)
MP3 ($58.05)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, UTG+2 calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP2 calls $0.50, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 raises to $3</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $3, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls $2.50, UTG+2 folds, MP2 calls $2.50.

Flop: ($12.75) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
BB checks, MP2 checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 bets $3</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $8</font>, BB folds, MP2 folds, MP3 calls $5.

Turn: ($28.75) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
MP3 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $15</font>, MP3 calls $15.

River: ($58.75) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
MP3 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $26.7 (All-In)</font>, MP3 calls $26.70.

Final Pot: $112.15

now here's the second hand. after 270 hands, villian is 90/11.6/1.3

after he put in that miniraise to $11, i strongly considered just calling him down after his miniraise on the turn. that was my initial gut feeling. but since i raised to $20 then he raised to $35, i couldn't find a fold. this hand wasn't at the same table as the first one.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.5 BB (9 handed) converter

Button ($56.2)
SB ($43.6)
BB ($30.85)
UTG ($62.8)
UTG+1 ($47.5)
MP1 ($120.55)
MP2 ($61.45)
Hero ($44.9)
CO ($14.7)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, MP1 calls $1.50.

Flop: ($4.75) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
MP1 checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($4.75) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets $3</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $7</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $11</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $20</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $35</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $42.9 (All-In)</font>, MP1 calls $7.90.

River: ($90.55) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $90.55

First hand is good, second hand is terrible. You simply can't put that many bets in with just a pair.

First hand looks good. I am guessing that he had a big pair (not Queens though) or *maybe* AQ and you took down a nice pot? *EDIT* ACK! I forgot to point out that I do re-raise here...I don't care who has been folding to what - the Villain obviously has a decent hand so he should call me, but I want it to be he and I from here on out.

Second hand, I think you need to bet post flop to figure out where you are. In the absence of that the raises on the turn tell me that you are up against something nasty (most likely a set).

I'd lean towards reraising PF in hand 1, otherwise it looks fine. On the 2nd one, wheres the flop bet? I'd go for 3/4-full pot to find out where you are. On the turn, what do you really think you're beating? Any set has you crushed, and now I think another possible holding for villain is 56s that you let get there for free. With the line you took of not betting the flop, I call the mini reraise and call a decent sized river bet. But seriously, why no flop bet?

Was slowplaying because there were no draws I could see him having after calling my PF raise. But he is 90% VP$IP. So it's hard to know where you're at with such a loose player. But yeah, after so many turn raises, what am I really beating here.. my first lesson with AA
