You wanna provide any sort of read here at all? (But it's pretty much horrible for most people)

adanthar's second response:

well, you've played X hands with this guy, and he's picked up a bunch of chips, and you have no read on him. that's terrible. since you're just willy nilly clicking buttons anyway, there can't be very much wrong with just going all in here.

in general, i hate this play though. your hand is not very good, you have another player in the pot who is almost assuredly calling your raise, and he has most likely got a real hand.

I'd imagine you are getting called.

If UTG had a high donk factor, which I'd assume the average player at your limits doesn't have, I'd be inclined to do this. You are gonna be getting good odds though so unless he has a higher pp (min bet utg = monster?) i say race.

Unless you've seen this guy do it before (its a 215 so I'm guessing you've seen a lot of these guys), I really don't like it.
1) 8 handed UTG min raises are usually strong hands where people are trying to encourage action. The donks that do it to steal the blinds are in the monority IMO.
2) He's going to be getting about 2-1 on his money so I hightly doubt you have any fold equity.
3) You're a coin flip at best.
4) I'd rather push a random hand first in and have a chance of picking up the blinds.

If you had like, 300 or something, I'd agree with the push to isolate since you're 'super' desperate.

But I think it's a poor move with your stack. He's UTG and you have to give him credit for something.

If you were in the blinds stack sizes are good for a stop and go.

Otherwise let this go, you have a hand that isnt going to b e much of a favorite against his range, and you probably have 0 folding equity.

Yeah. I pushed and as I did it I wanted to take my chips back. Anyway, UTG called with A9o and I won.
