I am so sick of seeing all these 11.5 G composite with metal insert clay chip sets on ebay. Who makes a decent chip? And by decent I mean the ones you find in a casino. Real clay with some weight. I've seen paulson chips but it doesn't seem like they manufacture those for home games.
I know a decent set should be over $400 but does anybody know where to find one and for a good price? Any help appreciated, thanks |

You can get some decent chips for less than $400, just depends what you want and like.
The top of the line home chips are typically either real clay or ceramic. Assuming want a 500pc set, you can get real clay chips from www.pokerchips.com for as little as .35/chip depending on options. These come in either stock colors/styles or may be customized (requires a long wait). www.nevadajacks.net carries the NJ Dead Mans and Desert sands ceramic chips which retail for 299 for a 500pc set. Make sure whatever you decide to do, get samples. www.chiptalk.net also has several group buys going on at any time where you can get good quality chips at decent discounts. |
