Is this standard?
Very good loose/passive 15/30 at the Taj, 9 handed. Everyone limps to me on the button, I raise K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], everyone calls. 9 people to the flop of Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] . Noone i can see from my corner seems to be overly excited. checks around to hijack who bets, hopeless chaser cutoff calls. $300 pot, I raise . Meh?

Re: Is this standard?
i think its better to call and peel one with caution get the other guys behind you interested in the big pot. You are going to have to catch a good card on the turn to continue, mays as well do it as cheaply as possible.

Re: Is this standard?
The pot has swelled, but I think I'd fold here. Am I screwing up?

Re: Is this standard?
Yes. You can't fold here, you peel one for one bet and then raise if you catch something good on the turn. Since the pot is big, a double bet on the flop won't get anyone to fold anything they'd fold for one bet.
