Default KK vs Tourney Chip Leader in 11r

I've been at this table for 3 orbits and haven't played a hand. Still fairly early with 300 or so left and avg at 20k. Chip leader was very active. Does anyone hate this line?

I hate just calling his raise here with so many people behind you. People are much more likely to call 2400 w/ their big stacks and the looser play that happens in these tourneys.

I would rereaise to 6000-8000 or so.

I was actually hoping to induce a squeeze play type move behind me, but maybe thats a bit of Fancy Play Syndrome....

Given that you didn't, your line on the flop is fine.

There are other options of course, but I don't see any problem with this one.

I posted the hand specifically because it was up against such a huge stack, one who could presumably have opened with a wide range of hands.

I'm kind of torn between throwing in a standard reraise which will take down the pot a good percentage of the time but will be very unlikely to double me up unless he has AK/QQ or maybe JJ. Interested to hear what 11r veterans like Chief have to say about taking the higher variance line in spots like this when it's still relatively early....

you need to get chips at some point. if he's been active, you have a good chance of getting the chips in on the flop with one pair and still having the best hand.

I would re-raise to 5500 or 6000 pre-flop. As played on the flop, I don't see any problems. If he his a set, oh well.

I think I might fold the flop here. The only hands you are ahead of is AJ, QQ, and MAYBE a flush semi-bluff/straight semi-bluff depending on the type of player he is.

Hands you are behind: AA, JJ, TT, AJs (spades), JTs/JTo

I'm guessing you lost this hand, based on the turn and the river. But this is just my read.
