Default JJ early position

I figure after the guy 3 bets my flop check raise he has the higher pair, but I'm not sure if it's correct to lay this down. Do you guys fold this on the flop? Is this a big mistake?

Any reads? Some people are maniacs, and some who aren't still play AK very aggressively. I do think you're beat most of the time though, and when you're not, he's drawing to 6 outs most likely, you're drawing to 2 when behind. Also, you will occassionally see TT/99 here, depending on the player. Which isn't much help after the turn and river...

I would cap this preflop.

On the flop, I would lead and 3-bet. You don't want to give overcards a chance to check behind on any street. Also, if he has a better overpair he will likely cap the flop, allowing you to call down for 1 bet on the expensive streets. I'm rarely folding this hand anywhere headsup without a solid read.

I don't like calling down after he 3-bets your flop check-raise. To me, if you're going to c/r there, you've got to get rid of it after he 3-bets.
