I don't see the point of a turn bet here. I don't think you've got the best hand in this spot very often and even if all 12 of your outs are good, you still don't have enough equity to make a turn bet for value. And considering they cold called two on the flop, my guess is that you don't have much fold equity either. Check call the turn and hope to improve on the river.

Is check-raising a flop like that with a hand like yours a standard play?

gotta put mp1 on a smaller pair here i think...99-77 i don't really like the flop checkraise, but it is a pretty big pot
check the turn...you have outs and no fold equity as has been mentioned

Standard Play?...Probably not.

Heres my thought process on this hand...

MP1 just called my 3 bet and he had position. I was putting him on AK,AQ or AJ

I was not planning on a flop check raise, It's just how the hand worked out. I saw an opportunity to try and knock the other players out of the hand and get it heads up. If UTG1 or UTG2 bet the flop then I would have called it down and fold if unimproved on the river.

I don't think betting the flop here unimproved would be a correct move as I had to contend with a preflop raiser and 2 players under the gun who called 3 bets to see the flop.

Anyone else play this differently?

You can make an argument either way on this one but I would prefer to take the free card. I don't see anyone beting out without top pair or a straight draw which means a 10 is the only card that you really want to see, don't make your self pay to much to get it.
