Default Too weak w/ A A?

Pacific NL50 $.5BB. No reads. I have red Aces in UTG+1 w/ $50.

1 folds, I make it $2.5, MP ($40) calls, button calls, SB calls. 4 to the flop.

Flop ($10): 9c 7s 7c

SB checks, I make it $8, MP calls, 2 fold

Turn ($26): Qc

I check, villian pushes for $30, I fold

Thoughts?

You have to value bet the turn to see where you are.

If he has AQ or KQ...he thinks he's ahead.

Um. Bet 12. IF he pushes, lay it down.

Do you have any reads on him at all?

I thought about it, but bettin $12 (which could seem weak, and make him push a worse hand), I have $18 to call to win $68. I don't know if I would be able to, or should, lay it down.

Anyone else has any thoughts on how I should have gone about?

Checking is even weaker. I put villain on a medium flush trying to get you off the lone A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. If you had A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], I'd call everytime. You have 14 outs to catch either a higher flush or a boat.

Well, I did not have Ac. My thinking was that he either had a 7, a flush draw, an over pair or a 9, in that order. I also thought that any amount I could bet on the turn would pot commit me, which is why I decided checking the turn club, and folding to any substantial bet. Is this line too weak against unknown?
