I believe the standard 2+2 answer is "fold pre-flop." Additionally though, given that you are already playing, I don't bet 200 on the turn. The pot is t175, so I want to bet maybe 125. The result of this is that when that river comes and you want to bet, the pot is now t425 and you can bet about 250 if you want to bet. I would be inclined to check the river and call your opponent's bet if you think he's playing a weaker Q.

A good case could be made for folding QJo preflop in this case. I usually prefer to be in late position for these kinds of hands. But, with over 40BB, your limp isn't disastrous (at that point).

On the turn, why bet larger than the pot? There's one card to come. No need to make the thing huge. Bet out 125 or something. Keep these things small with marginal hands.

On the river, again, bet smaller. Or check/call reasonable bet/fold. Why are you so committed to this hand? CO could have a ton of hands that beat you. A2s, 44, KQo, Q9s, all could easily be hands that he holds.

I do not claim to be an expert. I will bow to the likes of Andathar, Lorlinda, etc. But, IMHO this is how I would have played this hand:

preflop:

Using the "Gap Concept" I would have rasied 3 X bb hoping to win the pot right there.

flop:

If either of them call me, I would have bet 1/2 the pot as a "continuation bet".

turn:

I hit one of my cards, so I bet 1/2 the pot again.

river:

If C/O called all of these bets, I would begin to worry that I may be beat. I would bet about 1/3 of the pot. If he pushed, I would fold. I still have about t1200 and the blinds are still relatively low.

Raising QJo from MP2 when the stacks are 39BB deep on the average is a great way to lose a lot of chips.

you should think that you're behind when the CO flat calls your 200 bet. I wouldn't bet out the whole pot there, I like a 1/2 pot bet.
