Re: Should I have raised pre-flop?
of course, unless a little bird told you you'd turn kings full. By that level in the tournament the blinds are getting pretty big so you just need a couple of opponents to make the hand a big score. two all-in opponents is unfortunate but you did get to knock out two guys at once. |

You MUST be a reverand to catch that one outer. |

Re: Should I have raised pre-flop?
Absolutely! Especially being the initial raiser is somewhat short stacked and everyone else has folded to you. You want to shut out any ace if you can and at the same time get as much $ in the middle before the flop as possible. If you've run into AA from the initial raiser, he's gonna get all-in on the flop and you still have 2 outs with chips left if you lose. I know Nepal was somewhat short-stacked. However he/she made a horrible call utg with K4h (if he's going to take a stand he should have raised) and got very lucky when he flopped a set, then got very unlucky when you spiked your K. I think it was the the poker God's way a telling Nepal that he shouldn't have played the hand in the first place. Ya think? WTG Mike! How'd you end up? KC50 |

Re: Should I have raised pre-flop?
Should you have raised, yes definitely ! A better focus point about that hand is Nepal. With him been shortstacked and blinds rising. From early position he had a decent opportunity to try to steal blinds by raising and not calling. Enrique |

Re: Should I have raised pre-flop?
Thanks, KC. Third in that one, I think. I "always" come third. As soon as I am in the money zone I seem to relax, and I usually go all-in on some crummy hand that gets whupped - as it should, admittedly! |
