I'm assuming the other player had pocket kings. I lost to something similar. Had 7's full and third 7 hit the board. Some lady had 74o. Oh well.

I'm not usually mean like this, but your story really sucks. It's not because you called kings on the flop "x" and "x" but rather because you didn't even say how much the jackpot was.

The other guy had the pocket Kings!! the XX was trash. 3 aces on the board, plus pocket kings equals a boat. Seems clear enough.

The OP ended with AAAAQ, and the second player with AAAKK.
The boat does not beat 4 aces.
The OP won the pot, but is dissapointed that this hand had to happen to him (for him?) at a home game, because if it were at his local B&M casino, he would've made a significant amount from the Bad Beat Jackpot, where this hand would qualify the loser, winner, and whole table for some nice extra hoiday cash.
