Push back or fold redux
***** Hand History for Game 994241611 *****
NL Hold'em $20 Buy-in + $2 Entry Fee Trny:6124744 Level:4 Blinds(50/100) - Monday, September 27, 17:12:20 EDT 2004 Table Table 13862 (Real Money) Seat 3 is the button Total number of players : 4 Seat 1: ten123170 ( $3455 ) Seat 2: emilysom ( $2560 ) Seat 3: mrzarembsky ( $430 ) Seat 9: jseag2004 ( $1555 ) Trny:6124744 Level:4 Blinds(50/100) There is no Small Blind in this hand as the Big Blind of the previous hand left the table. ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to mrzarembsky [ Ah Jh ] ten123170 folds. emilysom raises [300]. As you see, I'm the clear short stack, and getting desperate. I'm on the button; the blinds are going up soon, although not before they hit me again. The raiser has only shown down KK after a preflop raise, but that could just mean that he's a solid player who knows to be agressive with a wide range of hands on the bubble. |

Re: Push back or fold redux
Push. You're too shortstacked to wait any longer. Just because he showed down KK before doesn't mean he is not on a steal now.

Re: Push back or fold redux
I'd push that every time. You're too short stacked to wait for a better hand.

Re: Push back or fold redux
Push. You don't hve enough to stop and go. Keep the blind from participating. This may be your best chance to double up. Just taking the blinds on a later hand is not going to help a lot.

Re: Push back or fold redux
Push. I think that this is much easier than the other one.

Re: Push back or fold redux
Well...I'm glad that I seem to have had the right instinct...although I sure am worried that I doubted myself in what seems to be such a clear-cut situation to everyone else.
