I Tivo'd "It's Always Fair Weather" starring Cyd Charisse and Gene Kelley, and decided to watch it last night. In the other room, my wife was surfing the internet and watching some MTV channel. I checked in on her and saw that they were showing a Brittany Spears video. a little later it was a Justin Timberlake video.
She just doesn't get it.

sorry but ill have to side with your wife. i dont get into the old movies. my wife is just shocked that ive never seen its a wonderful life(im 31). she tries to get me to watch it every holiday but i have no interest in seeing it. i just dont get it. maybe i just have bad taste in movies. i just like comedies and big budget sci fi stuff.

btw i cant stand Justin and brittany is aweful but i still very much enjoy brittany videos [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

The other night, my girlfriend and I watched the classic Lubitch movie, "The Shop Around the Corner," with Jimmy Stewart. She loved it but said, "They stole this idea from "You've Got Mail." :-/

less than a year difference. She's 33 and I'm 34. She did agree, though, that the roller skating, tap dance scene that Gene Kelley did was mind blowing.

Check out the Cyd Charisse dream sequence/dance scene from Singing in the Rain. fully clothed, but slinky as all hell. way sexier than Brittany's almost naked gyrations.
