a first for me

Reasonably unimportant hand ends with my opponent mucking his hand to my river bet. He then asks what I had.

I give my standard "I'll tell you for $40" (size of the BB)

The guy pitches out 8 chips.

I've had other people toss in chips twice but never the player in the hand.
