Calling on the river in this situation -->
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed)
Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls, Flop: (6.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, BB folds. Turn: (4.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, Button calls. River: (6.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls. Final Pot: 8.25 BB Main Pot: 8.25 BB, between Hero and Button. Is it right? It seems like an unreasonable place to give up on the hand, given that this could be a pot snatching attempt. But it seems like a very marginal play either way. |

Re: Calling on the river in this situation -->
You had to call the river here, and I think I prefer your check over a valuebet because there are a lot of draws that your opponent could have missed that he might try to bet here.
