NL in San Diego
Hey all,
I'm aware of the many casinos around the San Diego area as I've done a search and I'm staying in town for a night but I'm unaware of my hotel location in reference to them. I am looking for a baby NL game to play in (i.e. 1/2 blinds with a buyin of around $300, anything within this ball park). If no casino is offering NL, I'd be willing to play up to 5/10 limit. I'll be staying at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego...so what is the closest casino to this hotel? I'll have to cab it to play cards so distance is somewhat important. Thanks. |

Re: NL in San Diego
Viejas Casino
easy limit games, not a big selection of NL, maybe 1-2 tables. Sycuan Casino 3-5 NL games going on, on the weekends, slightly tighter limit games --- both these places have like 200+ people tourneys whenever they go off during the evenings, try going during one of those. |

Re: NL in San Diego
Thanks for the info. What's standard fare for a 30 minute cab ride?

Re: NL in San Diego
its hard to provide you accurate information when you give us little details.. like where is Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego?? cant give an accurate cab rate if we have no idea where your coming from and going to.
cab from central SD to viejas would be at least $30-40 since it is that many miles.. but u should go to all casino websites and check for their shuttles.. most of the major casinos in SD have their own shuttles that pick up every day in several locations around town... would be cheaper to cab to a location and take the free shuttle.. altho most dont take you back past 10 or 11 i think.. call the casinos.. |

Re: NL in San Diego
Oceans 11 Casino is just up the coast in Oceanside. You can probably take the train or a bus up there making it cheaper than a cab ride.
They spread 1-2 NL $100 max buy in or a 5-5 NL game (not sure what the max buy in is. |
