Default Limit Hold\'em Tournament

Limits are at $100/200. I have about $1800, playing against a guy (call him X) with about $2500 who just got relocated to this table (so I don't know how he plays).

In in early position, dealt KK. I raise, X calls, and one other guy calls.

Flop comes 5 10 K all of hearts.

question 1: what is the right course of action here?

I bet, X raises, other guy calls.

question 2: what is the right course of action here?

I reraise, figuring if X calls he's either got high pair (unlikely), trips or a nut flush draw. X re-raises.

question 3: what is the right course of action here?

I folded.

result of the hand will be posted later.

Q1. I bet like you did.

Q2. Would call here. Very likely one of them has a nut flush. And if so, you still have 8 outs (that is like an straight draw, and will have 10 outs after the turn).

Q3. Your getting great odds for your 8 outs, so call...definitely don't fold.

If you don't hit on the turn, bet and call. Not sure who called the initial raise, but sounds like 1600 chips in there before the bet on the turn. Check and call. You'd be getting 10-1 as it would be 2000 that you would be calling, and will get good action if you hit.

Default Can you explain the odds for this?

"Your getting great odds for your 8 outs"

Can you explain this? I'm new to Texas Hold'em (been playing only for 6 months). The only calculation I know is the % chance of making a draw by the # of outs (e.g. 4* on flop, 2* on turn). I saw 4*7 outs=28% chance so I thought with only two callers I should just dump the hand.

The odds I am talking about is how much payback you would get for your bet if you hit it.

With the number of raises, the pot was huge.

Results:

Turn is an offsuit low card, I believe an 8. X bets, other guy calls.

River is the fourth K and I'm kicking myself. X bets, other guy calls. X flips over 55 giving him full house 5 over K, other guy folds (probably a low flush).
