Party Poker 1000 NL (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises to 40,4 folds, BB calls.

($85)Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, hero bets 65, BB raises to 130, hero calls.

($345)Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, hero bets 175, BB calls.

($795)River: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets 1066 (All-In).

what do you guys think? What range do you put him on after he check-calls the turn and checks the river?

I think your turn bet is too small and not very believable. Flop call / small turn bet / river all-in don't seem very consistent for a set.

He check minraised you on the flop, I dont know what that means against an unknown at the 5-10 6 max level, the flop action forces me to add set into his hand range because I have seen a set being played like that.
It either looks like like a trickily played set or a pair such as jacks/tens. I dont think i can put him on a flush draw, because he checked the river, I mean he has no reason to believe you are betting that river.
I think JJ/TT are more likely than a set unless he was trapping you, hard to tell against an unknown.
Why would he min raise the flop with something like AK, when it has very little folding equity against the preflop raiser??

ok good thing you have clues in your profile to let me know who you were and how you knew me. I think we've discussed this before though, in pretty much the same chain of events.

Otherwise this whole thing would have been really weird. I know camelzoo from school.

In general i think his line would be semi retarded with a set. Hes got to think the ace might help me and that his best chance to keep me around is by betting out. C/R the turn with a set would only let me off easy if a set is what he had.

Granted, he may not be capable of thinking it through this much, but I'm pretty sure most players would just continue the lead with a set here.

Also, when he checks the river I think we can pretty much rule out a set as a possible hand. Like you said, he has no reason to believe that I will bet it here.

i was going to fold unless I spiked a 6 if he kept the lead.
Also on the river he only had about 700 left so it wasnt really an overbet in case that affects anything.
