Let me see what insight I can provide:

Hand 1 - I do not have a solution for you, but I *hate* getting all-in preflop with KK. My limited experience is that I am almost always facing AA. I do not have a solution for you, because you surely are not going to fold it...it is a tough situation.

Hand 2 - I have a really hard time folding at the flop. The pot is laying you 3.5:1 odds and you have an overpair, open ended straight draw, and backdoor flush draw.

He may have AK - though he should not be that raise crazy pre-flop with it - in which case you have a gutshot straight draw, but you still have 2 cards to come.

Hand 1, not sure what else you can do. If you just call it's all going in on almost any flop anyway.

Hand 2, don't 3 bet PF. He's not re-raising with crap. The way you played it, flop is a must call.

by the time the second hand flop had come, i'd already lost the first and was sure i had KK vs AA twice in a matter of seconds (what are the odds?). Saw the flop, saw i was killed by anything he has, and didn't even look at the pot odds. You're right though poker stove tells me the only thing i didn't have odds to call against is AK.

what goes around comes around i guess... 1 hour later:

Right, the key is to hit the come arounds and avoid the go arounds (or vice versa?)

I was stating on another thread that the way I initially took my EV with AA from - to + was by shoving in preflop everytime I got AA. It is amazing how many people will call you when you shove. In fact, after I misplayed AA and lost $100, I got it again, shoved, and won $140 when someone with AKo called me....really weird stuff.
