Best 2 card Hold'em starting hands

I wrote some code that put all possible combinations of two card hands up against one another and then for each combination 1000 iterations of the 5 community cards were randomly dealt. For each iteration a winner was determined. The top 10 winners are shown below. My question is why in Sklansy/Malmuth's HPFAP does it rank the hands differently? I can guess some reasons, but would like some other opinions. Feel free to let me know if you think the numbers are incorrect. Thanks.

Well the obvious answer is that heads up is a different monster than a full table. A hand like 77 might be fine heads up, but with 3 callers your gonna need your set to win most of the time.

The other answer is that even though a hand like 88 might be a better hand than say JTs, JTs will often drag a huge pot if it hits. The S&M rankings take this into consideration as well.

heads-up plays and very accurate for short-handed games. However,the Sklansky-Malmuth groupings assume non-short-handed games. The Sklansky-Malmuth groupings are not accurate for heads-up and short-handed games. The reason I do not play in short-handed games is because my plays are based upon the knowledge that I received from Sklansky and Mason 's book-- The text assumes a non-short-handed game for their groupings.

I have never played with a deck containing only two suits so your results would be incorrect for me.

Sklansky's hand rankings are designed, if I remember correctly, to rank the hands in terms of which will win the most money. He assumes a full ring game, and 4 or 5 usually staying for the flop. He uses 5 or 6 criteria, including: chances of making the best hand, making a straight or flush, making top pair, making a second best hand, etc. Sorry, this is OTOH, I can't remember the others. All this is explained in some detail in HEP (NOT HPFAP), in the newest additions. I am a slob, so I can't find mine. If you want to know more ask me and I will look harder for it.

Dont forget also that when playing 99 down, overcards in a multiway pot will slow you're betting down significantly. Sure they might be the best if you call them down all the way, all the time, but how profitable will that be?
