Bump for the Monday morning crowd, and clarification on the last hand - We're in the final twelve. Next two guys out get ~$150, getting to the final table is worth $200, first is $4,000. Nobody at the other table is under t50,0000.

Hand 1: I call. Best case scenario, he's just on a flush draw. Odds are, he just has a higher queen, but you're getting 3:1 on a call where you have a slight chance of being ahead.

Hand 2: Looks like a great chance to wait until the turn, for me. Doesn't look like many cards can "hurt" you here.

Hand 3: Easy push. 7BB and an A on the button. ALL IN BABY!

Hand 1

[/ QUOTE ]
Only if you can't get away from a top pair hand. You're really looking for a two pair or straight hand here. That said I check that flop and fold to any significant action. If the conditions are right you can continue the hand, but I'm not in love with it yet.

Hand 2
I like the smooth call with plans to push the turn (any turn). He's probably testing it out with TT or something here, small chance of a flopped set of 9s or 88. Either way if you push you're not likely to get a call from a worse hand, but if you pause and smooth call, they'll have a harder time getting away.

Hand 3
You need some more chips to be a threat at the final table. 7 BBs on the button with Ax is going to be a push no matter how you slice it. Heck it might even be profitable with your cards face up (don't hold me to that). Your goal isn't to make the final table here, it's to have some ammo IF you get there so you can make a run for first.
