I apologize -- I gotta start grabbing the hand histories for these.
Low limit online, extremely clueless players. You've got rolled up 10s, unimproved by 6th street. Facing 2 opponents, one of whom made a 3-straight one of whom made a 3 flush (not their door card suit) on 6th. What's your action if you are first? What's your action if checked to? CMP |

If checked to, absolutely bet. If first to act, I would still bet. It is very unlikely that the guy with three suited cards has a flush. It is fairly unlikely that the other guy has a straight, even if that's what he was drawing to. You have a bunch of outs if you happen to be behind. Get your money in there. If raised, you of course call and hope to fill on the river. Whether you pay off unimproved is player-dependent, but usually pay off because the pot is big (you have been betting the whole way, right?).

Bet. Bet.
Bet. Bet. Bet. If the players are indeed clueless, you shouldn't even be close to afraid until they catch 4-flushes or 4-straights. Even then, there's a decent chance they don't have anything. -Mike |

I'd say bet in both cases unless your other 3 cards are dead.
