Is this a good call? Primary factors considered were stack sizes relative to the blinds and the stack sizes of the chip leader and other non-involved player. And the possibility of knocking out 2 players for a dramatic pay increase. Thanks for your time, just trying to get a better grasp on short handed final table play,

Okay, UTG makes a mini raise. SB raises just a tad more. You're getting really good odds on you're hand which doesn't figure to be too far behind a normal raise and a short stack all-in. Obviously you have to call UTG's all in.
KQ is a rather good hand 6 handed. In this situation you'd be happy to see two Axs or AJ-AT and an underpair.. If they have AQ or AK you're in deep trouble. But because of the factors that you mentioned, pot ods and pay jump, I think it's a good call.

KQs is a pretty strong hand here. Certainly, nobody would fault you for folding as you are probably behind but not by much. But if you're going to play, I'd push and not call. This just generally follows the principle that if you're going to call an all-in re-raise you might as well push yourself and see if you can get heads up with great odds.

Thanks for the replies, I thought it was a fine call also. Just trying to make sure and get past results oriented thinking, the king on the river allowed me to beat out a pair of 77s and an unimproved Ace Jack. Usually people just question bust out hands, so double checking with people when a hand goes well seems prudent. I meant to raise the final stack all in and just did some bad math because i thought the raise already put him in, since it was only a sixth of a blind i guess it didn't matter much either way. Thanks again. Seemed to be pretty small risk with a potential large reward.
