Default bellagio 30/60 hand

folded to the SB who raises way too much before the flop and seems to keep autobetting until he meets resistance. i call in the BB with 44.

flop is Q86 with two clubs. SB bets and i call.

turn is an offsuit 6. SB bets and i call, intending to call any card river with my pair of fours.

river is a queen, and puts a third club on the board. well, i can't call now. SB bets and i raise.

This seems like a good spot to raise the turn and check behind the river.

I was referring to a general line, but I probably would still check if he called the turn raise, yes.

"draw him in" he doesnt have AA he has 44 you have to make this 3 bets because your most likely are up against 2 overcards and are pretty much 50/50 to win at showhdown anyways.. 3 betting atleast gives you a chance at making him fold

if you intended to call to the river with your 44, why didn't you threebet preflop and bet the flop?
