I'm not a zoo-er, but I remember coming in here and seeing Lori(nda) and Granny Mae on regular daily basises(is that even a word?).

Now, I come in here and see spam-central and a bunch of idiots that post under assumed names or their 18th different user-name because they have no life.

When I first started playing poker, this site was a god-send, and although I never really affiliated much with any particular clique, I found interesting and helpful posts abundant throughout the pages here. Now..... it's like a freakin' info-mercial for poker.

I guess as in all things, ignorance is bliss, and innocence lost can never be regained, but for the love of God, where the hell's all the poker talk anymore?

Where are the bonus-whoring posts? Where are Lorinda and Granny Mae to squash the spammers and the trolls? What happened to debate on here?

It's sad, really.... I used to think about logging into 2+2 every day when I got home from work... I laughed at the jokes and remarks, I cried when there was devastating news, I felt proud when I would post a hand and someone would congratulate me for it, and I felt ashamed when I got flamed for a stupid play I made. Now..... it seems as if I go days and sometimes even weeks without bothering to log in here.

I kinda think that maybe the forum is just in a phase where every river is a suck-out, and the wins here will start again.

I can only hope so.............

Couldn't agree more this area of the forum is [censored] now! If you want to learn or make apost about improving your game go to the related board on the left. People there actually discuss the particular topic at hand, and aren't all about being the most popular person at the site. It's a rather nice change.

This section needs to be renamed "Bullshit, Gossip, and Bonus Whoring Casinos!"

Granny last posted was 7/9 so she's been around these parts. Lori on the other hand has not posted since 6/9..... hmmm. Im guessing either a much deserved extended holiday or a new career pursuit. Lori....fill us in!!!!
