i just sat down and dont have any reads. i limp with j8s and get a very nice flop. how do i play this hand?

there's a good chance you are drawing to either 12 outs or 9 outs with villain having a boat redraw and getting more money in here out of position isn't exactly fun. the river is where it gets somewhat interesting. i would bet out here a good portion of the time since it is a relatively harmless looking card for villain. it has the added effect of looking like a bluff on a missed flush draw. this would definitely be worth doing if villain has a tendency to check behind on the river with top pair, middle pair type hands. did villain show a set?

I recommend reraising this flop to $25. Then calling a push if one comes.

that seems to add unnecessary variance and villain's range of cards would lead us to believe that in most cases we aren't close to even money here. i would feel better if hero's pair card was middle pair instead of top. fold equity at this stage is close to nil.
