Default 2+2 NA vs Euro NL Bust out hand !

Besides busting out where did I go wrong?

Early in the tourny blinds 10/20

I have ~1600 and see 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in MP and limp

SB completes, BB checks 3 to the flop

Pot (60) Flop comes 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 10[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB checks, BB bets 100 in to a 60 pot and I raise to 220 (think I should've raised more here). SB folds, BB calls ?? Now I think I am still ahead here. I think a set would raise me at this point or would've not over bet the flop. I think I am possbily up against ATx or A9x or possibly even K9 or A3 or K3. Can't rule out AK or a bigger PP but it is doubtful given the PF action.

Turn is a K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. This gives me a flush draw to go with my 2 pair. BB checks and with a 500 pot and multiple outs I decided to push in my last 1300 in chips.

Well he called with K3x and I didn't get my 9, T or spade and I am out in 55/56.

Overall a disappointing finish and a terrible play on my part.

Now a few questions:

Is raising on the flop the best play?

How much of a raise should've I put in on the flop?

Is pushing on the turn a mistake?

Is betting the pot or even 1/2 pot better?

Can checking this be correct?

Thanks
