Default Burning DVDs

I've started watching more movies upstairs in my office while I work, but am getting tired of running downstairs to the living room where I keep most of my DVDs.

So I just tried to use my DVD burner for the first time, but it tells me "the disk you are trying to copy is protected." How can I get around this? I was trying to use RecordNow, but is there another program I can download or something that will let me copy movies?

It's a 3 step process:

1. decrypt
2. shrink to fit
3. burn
