Default Does this laydown have positive EV?

Villain is 60/50(!)/1.9 or so... I tend to let these hands go, but with his goofy stats I'm not sure...maybe call with an ace?

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: (3.75 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6.75 BB

Looks fine to me. He may be bluffing but even an a-high bluff beats us. More likely slowplaying a monster.

My question is why did you bet the turn?

Wow. I don't understand how that's an autopilot bet in the slightest. I think that bet is awful, it's pushinig him off 0 better hands imo (with maybe KQ as the lone exception if you follow through on the river and he doesnt' raise you), it's getting calls from zero worse hands, and finally it's getting you played back at enough that you had to wonder about folding and come post about it. I just can't see how betting here has any value at all.

I think you're exaggerating. We're against a 60/50. But yeah, I wouldnt bet this either.

I'm tempted to open fold the turn against this guy since the times he checks behind and I make a pair, I probably lose money on.

What does open fold mean?

when first to act on a postflop street,

1. Click Fold
2. When asked if you're sure you'd like to fold, press "yes"

[/ QUOTE ] Thanks for the feedback. Just curious, do you bet here with AK? Is that any different?
