Default My hand ain\'t much, but it\'s better than yours

I had the chance to play a little weeknight 30/60 at Bellagio on Tuesday. Comments appreciated, especially as they concern the pre-flop and flop.

Here's the cast of characters:

MP: Your prototypical annoying and smarmy Vegas local. Offers up his expert opinion to all who will stomach his whiny English accent. Plays way too many hands more passively than he should and he will call with any pair until the river (which wasn't necessarily wrong in most cases).

SB: A slovenly older Asian guy who's been complaining about some bad beats he took in the WPT event earlier that day. Loves to play pots and raises with very weak hands, especially when MP limps. I get the feeling he's playing a lower limit than he usually does.

BB: Yours truly. Boyishly handsome out-of-towner who's played somewhat tight compared to the rest of the table, but has always opened for a raise when he decides to join in the fun.

7-handed. MP open-limps, folded to SB who raises. I find As3s in the BB and 3-bet (is calling here and then betting/raising the flop a better move?). Both call.

Flop: 79T with two spades.

SB checks, I bet, MP calls, SB folds.

Turn: T diamonds

I check-call. (Weak?)

River: blank

We both check.

I'd definately bet the turn as you have represented a lot of strenght, have many outs if he calls, and you might just make him fold even though he calls a lot. He'd fold a gutshot here no?

Just call preflop, on the turn when it's headsup I'd fire again to try and get your lone opponent to fold.
