Don't see anything wrong with it, although I'm inclined to call the river. Raising wins you 1 if you're right, and loses you two if you are wrong. Given that he's betting into you knowing that you finished the betting on the turn, I wouldn't feel too comfortable raising back. Given how's he played it though, I wouldn't say raising is that horrible of a move either. He could easily have been betting a jack thinking you have 8s.

I'm just calling the river. IMO this shows the strength of the C/C, C/C, bet line, as you can't comfortably raise this river.
