The Liquor control board of ontario goes on strike at midnight tonight.
For you non-Ontarians what this means to me is that I cannot buy any liquor at all, only beer. So unlike the old days when canadian rum runners kept american speakeasys stocked with booze we now need you to return the favour. any volunteers? You could get pretty rich if this thing goes on for a while... |

Damn this sucks. Hopefully it doesn't last too long. Time for the government to put the LCBO up for sale.
This would suck more if I wasn't 5 minutes from the Quebec border... |

I do think we owe you guys for helping out during prohibition. However, it is probably illegal. My state shares a border w/ you guys- not Ontario but out west -, and I remember some Canadians being busted for filling a rental truck with booze from a state south of us and driving up to Canada. Apparently your prices are so bad they could fill a truck up at retail and make money. I was sad to see them charged, but they were. Oh well.
I think I may have to go get a bottle of Pinch for you tonight, the scotch that made the vile Joe Kennedy rich. |

Of course it would be illegal but that shouldn't stop you doing it!!!
C'mon were talking about booze here and there's plenty of alcoholics in Ontario. If you think about it you would really be helping needy people out and making boatloads (perhaps literally) of money at the same time. |

Why do something illegal? It would be much easier to just get it from another province - and completely risk free.

Doesn't look like he can be more than 16 hours round trip. 16 hours wouldn't stop me.
