I can't eat bananas anymore

So if I eat a banana and throw out the peel, within about 2 hours my kitchen is really stanked up. Anyone else have this problem?

I have a real garbage can with a lid that keeps the smell contained somewhat. But when I open it to throw something else out I get punched in the face with the stench.

actually, I never have this problem....and I eat a lot of bananas.....potatoes I could see this problem, but it's a little odd with bananas - the peels don't normally reek....especially after 2 hours!....

Put peel in a plastic bag and tie it shut (or into a plastic food container that you have thrown away).

No air circulation means no smell.
