Default Evidence of UK military PoW abuse in Iraq lacking

BBC web page

There is a need to stand firm with US and Italian allies in liberating and restructuring a post-Saddaam Iraq, but there is still little evidence of systematic PoW abuse by UK military forces, although I do not doubt that isolated cases may have occurred.

The Amnesty International report that has been cited recounts accidental shootings of innocent civilians during the war, not PoW abuse, torture or humiliation.
