Please don't kill me .. but .. Fold T9s UTG+1. [/ QUOTE ] I know, I know. My VPIP is 17 and I can develop a rock-like image on a table - so I try to change it up once in awhile. That having been said - what do you think about how I played the hand? |

Re: Party 100 NL - T9s - getting myself into trouble
well besides the fact that you limped UTG w/ that hand...
the flop hit you pretty hard. You are trailing a set, and a pair plus flush draw. Other than that you are good. What do you put the other two players on? It was an unraised pot...do you fear 56s at all? A8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ? |

Re: Party 100 NL - T9s - getting myself into trouble
Why chase out the other player with your push? It only increases your implied odds to keep him in, and if he has a set, it's not like he's going anywhere anyways.

Fair enough, but there go two of your outs.

I'm not that aggro with my draws, but this is a nice one.
You're in a bit of trouble against a higher flush draw and a set, I think it all comes down to what you think they can hold besides those. |

[/ QUOTE ] I put the CO on a flush draw - my thinking was to push in to chase him out. I figured if he had a set he would've reraised the flop. The shorstack - frankly I didn't stop to think what he might've had. He was the shortstack so once the pot got big I thought he would push with any piece hoping to triple up. |
