Should I be worried of trapping or steam-calling? #2 Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Hero (t1996) UTG (t3704) Button (t1180) SB (t1120) Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 2 folds, SB raises to t250, Hero raises [t1996] Villain had been very LAG, even for $11 standards. I think the first one is good if he's been playing tight. I wouldn't get worried about trapping or steam-calling if you only did this once before. Now, start gradually increasing your standards after this push when he completes.
2nd hand is OK too because of your reads IMO. I do think you have FE, but you would have a lot more FE if he had just a bit more chips. You're ahead of his range by far so even if he calls you should be a favorite vs his hand and maybe even dominating. |
