If you're going to fire at the flop throw another bet on the turn. Your check on the turn is bad.

FLOP: I prefer to CHECK this flop with a low middle pair, two spades on the board, and three opponents to follow.

Then:

1. I'll call one bet if it comes from the last to act as there is only one card in the playing zone (King), my kicker is higher than that King, and I have a BD Flush Draw to the Nuts.

2. If there is a bet and an overcall I might call.

3. To a bet and a raise I would fold.

NOTES: I don't like betting out unless my opponents are Tight Aggressive and are likely to fold without a King, likely to fold to a second shot on the Turn without a King, and/or they are likely to raise if they have one, thus allowing me to fold when it comes back to me.

Passive opponents sometimes just call with Top Pair, and could cause you to bet all the way to the River, just to lose. Hero is Out of Position in this hand. I prefer the CHECK.

I think the bet on the flop i ok. You have middle pair with a top kicker and now its the time to test your opponents for stronger hnads. Since the just call i would also fire a bet on the turn the 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is not a scarecard and you may be still ahead if there is no weak king or worse in the hands of an opponent.

I don't bet the flop OOP with a low middle pair against three opponents...
