ghetto standard. i play it the same. is the turn call close because you missed your backdoor flush draw? to be honest i like that turn card since it probably didnt help the villain.

The turn is close between betting and checking, but I'm not folding.

As long as the villain bets the flop - which, given your read is probably quite likely -, I'm playing every other street the same way. I'm quite content to give him all the rope he wants to hang himself with in a small, HU pot. The open limp on the button does seem suspicious, but given that it's PP .50/1.00, I don't think it's worth much more than a second thought.

ah i misunderstood what you meant. way ahead or way behind so i am a fan of the check call line. i wouldnt enjoy having my stop and go raised on the turn.

He's not weak, just slightly loose (35% VPIP) and very aggressive. There's very little I gain by raising PF here.

Given his aggression and likely range of hands (including the possibility of bluff-raising me), I like a check-call much better.
