Online $10-20: Turning on the heat.
Online $10-20, loose ring-game, even by online standards. 9-handed, I raise AQo from UTG and I am cold-called in three spots as well as by the big blind. Five people see the flop. Not unusual in this game, though.
Flop comes: Q-7-2, two clubs. I bet and get two callers. Turn card: Offsuit 6. I bet, first flop-caller raises, second flop-caller cold-calls. I think 1.F-C is one of the toughest players in this line-up. I think for a while, and three-bet. Both players call. River pairs the deuces without brining any third club. I bet and 1.F-C calls. How did I do? lars |

Perfect. (BTW, which two cards were clubs, and were either of your cards clubs? That might sway my answer slightly.)

Results (no peeking!).
I thought this was a bit of classic post you see here where a hand is played in a way that at least borders on over-aggressive, but in the case of the hands that gets posted, usually ends with a "happy ending".
It occured to me that I should take the time and post this "honest" hand even though I can't brag that my aggressive line won me some extra money. 1st flop caller showed 66 for a turned set, rivered full to take it. NOW, how did I do? lars PS: Yes, I was planning to fold to a turn 4-bet. Of course harder to fold to just a river raise if my turn 3-bet is called, but I couldn't resist betting the river, at that point I was feeling pretty good about my hand. |
