Hi krishan,

Do you have any reads on SB? How about UTG? I like to check/call flop and donk either the turn or the river to try to knock out SB. Not sure...with your line you have to check/call river and hope for TT-99 or JJ, or perhaps a moronic AK.

I generally cap the flop and lead the turn. If he raises I then go into call down and expect to lose to QQ but hope for TT.

I just feel so used if I don't get enough bets in and then he checks behind on the river with AK (although I also feel used if he bets the river with QQ)

Aren't AA and KK in there somewhere? And I think I discount AK as a hand after getting 3-bet on the flop just because I don't do it. You still think it could be in his hand range?

Sans-read, I can't see how else to play it. You told him you have an overpair and he says he has better.

Sorry, I include AA & KK with QQ (and include 99 & 88 with TT) I just meant a bigger PP.

And yes I have seen MANY players play a big Ace this hard and then just check the river.

To elaborate. With that board many guys continue to bet AK strong hoping if you have an overpair it's 88 or 99 or the like and you will eventually believe he has AA or KK and go away. If you don't he still has 6 outs. That's his thinking.
