Mouse Drivers (Creative Labs)
Not sure if this is the right forum but was hoping someone could help me out. I bought a reasonably cheap Creative Labs optical mouse (Model Number OMC90S) but can't find drivers for it anywhere, and don't know where my windows CS is. I'm running windows 2000 pro. If anyone has this and can send it to me or knows where I can download it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Ya, I actually tried to find them myself, but had no luck on download.com or their site, or microsofts site.

Re: Mouse Drivers (Creative Labs)
this link might help as well
link Wireless mouse troubleshooting Connectivity: The batteries should be charged and the USB port should be outputting 5V. Low voltage can affect connectivity, resulting in flickering of the mouse error and shortened battery life. Keep at a proper distance from monitor and other electromagnetic field sources, with particular attention to other wireless mice. Interference with other mice is solved by resetting the transmission frequency. (Press the bottom on the transmitter and then the "connect" button under the mouse ) Settings: The wireless mouse should be listed under the MOUSE root as Human Interface Device compliant mouse in Device Manager. A human interface devices root/Hid compliant system control device/usb human interface device entry will be created upon installation. NOTE: installation under XP doesn't require any drivers. Under Win98 you will be prompted for the OS installation disk. However, discarding this requirement will only result in the loss of the CENTRAL BUTTON function (but only the screen scrolling one, which can still be obtained by physically rolling the scroller). Activation of this function also requires a driver under Win98. In case of failed detection, try rebooting the system after total shutdown and disabling of antivirus and screen savers. |
