Chicago Area Poker, 1st time poster

Hey all,

I am fairly new to poker and in live in Chicago. I play Hold Em and am wondering what people's experience is with the poker rooms in the area. Tough games? soft? I know that Harrah's East Chicago has a room, but don't know what they spread on what days.

My goal is to become a very strong mid-stakes limit player. I've read several of the 2+2 publications on poker and am looking forward to learning here as well. Thanks for any replies!
